This week I was lucky to be invited to a special event at a special place – a styling event with L’Oréal Professionnel at Ramirez Tran Salon in Beverly Hills.  The event was in honor of the new partnership between L’Oréal Professionnel and celebrity stylists (and salon owners) Johnny Ramirez and Anh Co Tran.  The salon itself is amazing, and the event was so fun.  Ramirez Tran Salon | Palms to Pines | Jen HawkinsRamirez Tran Salon | Palms to Pines | Jen Hawkins

I had my hair styled (and actually chopped again!) by Sal Salcedo.  Sal specializes in cuts, and he knew exactly what I wanted before I even got the words out – hair like Rosie Huntington ;).  He literally made my hair look exactly like her’s – so we jokingly decided people might mistake me for Rosie now…(yeah right!)  For haircut inspiration, follow Sal here!  Sal used a texturizing beach spray from L’Oréal Professionnel that I’m now obsessed with – and I love the smell!Ramirez Tran Salon | Palms to Pines | Jen Hawkins

Someone from L’Oréal Professionnel walked me through some exciting new color products they have coming out – Diarichesse Hi-Visibility and Inoablond Resist.  The Diarichesse Hi-Visibility are demipermanent shades that deliver amazing color and shine without a huge commitment – they are supposed to fade out in 4-6 weeks.  The Inoablond Resist combats brassiness for blondes – which as a fake blonde I can appreciate ;).

I can’t wait to go back to Ramirez Tran, and keep experimenting with the new products from L’Oréal Professionnel.

Outfit details:

This sweatshirt dress by Monrow is unreal – so comfortable but I feel cute in it.  I dressed it up with a silk scarf around the neck – so easy!  I love this scarf because the print is great and it looks high end but isn’t crazy expensive.  I’m sure you’re going to see more of it on here ;).
