Heading into Labor Day Weekend, I’m soaking up the last of summer. I’m secretly so happy that the crowds are finally gone (who knew I’d become such a local down here?!) and excited we still have a month or two of summer weather. Here are a few (really random) things I’ve been into this week…

Listening to the Arcs – Blake got me hooked on The Arcs on our road trip last weekend, and they’ve been keeping me company on my commutes this week. They just released their debut album, Yours Dreamily, and I’m loving it. The Arcs is actually Dan Auerbach’s (lead singer of the Black Keys) new project, and Blake and I decided if you love the Black Keys, you’ll love The Arcs. Also in the band is Richard Swift, who’s a member of The Shins as well as bass player for the Black Keys. You can buy the album on iTunes here OR listen to it on Spotify here. Making a huge batch of this dessert (Panna Cotta) partly because because it’s Blake’s favorite, partly to celebrate the end of summer (since it’s such a summery dessert!) and party because we are headed to spend the weekend with my siblings, most of which are gluten free ;). And of course, I’m shopping all of the best end of summer sales AND keeping an eye on the Labor Day Weekend sales popping up! I’ll let you know when I find something really amazing ;).
